MAYOR’S OFFICE

Keep the city in balance.

Taxes fund the streets and services that keep Bayview running. Higher taxes slow demand and reduce happiness.

Each depot provides two crews. Power travels along connected roads. Aerial coverage verifies dumping sites; crews still need a road route to reach them.

ILLEGAL DUMPING OPERATIONS

From reports to clean streets.

Follow the cleanup effort across a 10 × 10-block city. One minute at 1× represents a full day.

  1. Start with the work-order queue. Reports initially dispatch in the order received. Resident reports may be unverified, missing photos, incorrect, or at the wrong location. Select any order to find its reported site.
  2. Follow PW crews, 06:00–16:00. Only PW trucks use the streets. They drive on the right, obey traffic lights and stop signs, and collect different-size piles. Eight-unit loads must reach the dump to be emptied. Dashed routes show only where trucks are going. Past travel is not shown.
  3. Cleanup and paperwork are separate. Crews sometimes forget to close a cleaned order. False reports cost a trip and frustrate the crew. The queue can say “open” even when the street is clean.
  4. Enable Aerbits: one flight at 16:00. The pass finishes at 18:00. As streets are scanned, clean orders close, wrong locations are corrected, current-condition photos are attached, and unreported piles receive new evidence-backed work orders. No duplicate reports for known piles. When the scan completes, Aerbits reorders the queue into a road-distance-based pickup plan with crew assignments, truck capacity, and dump detours.
  5. Watch tomorrow improve. Crews resume unfinished work and retained loads at 06:00 using the corrected queue. New dumping can occur after the flight; it waits for a resident report or tomorrow’s scan. Hotspots include underpasses, abandoned roads, dead ends, and stop-sign or hydrant intersections.

Click a truck to follow it. Drag to pan, scroll or +/− to zoom, and Space to pause. PW focuses the yard; Home fits the road grid. Progress saves locally. Evidence images and operating rates are illustrative, not real aerial photographs or calibrated municipal data.

EXISTING WORK ORDERS

A report isn’t ground truth.

Incorrect, misplaced, and repeat reports of cleaned sites waste crew trips. At 16:00, the aerial survey checks each location, closes clean orders, relocates wrong addresses, updates active piles, and creates evidence-backed reports for unreported dumping.
